This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for PhantomNote Pro, a digital software license sold by PhantomNote. By purchasing, you also agree to this policy.
1. Digital product
PhantomNote Pro is a downloadable macOS application licensed after purchase. Because the product is delivered digitally and access can be activated immediately, refunds are limited as described below.
2. One-time license
The current price is a one-time payment of $25 USD (plus applicable taxes). This is not a recurring subscription unless we explicitly offer one in the future.
3. Refund eligibility
We may offer a refund at our discretion if:
- You request a refund within 14 days of purchase and have not materially used the licensed software (e.g., license not activated on a device), or
- There was a duplicate charge, billing error, or technical failure that prevented license activation, or
- Required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
4. Non-refundable situations
Refunds are generally not provided when:
- The license has been successfully activated on your Mac
- You changed your mind after download or substantial use
- Issues are caused by incompatible hardware, unsupported macOS versions, or third-party apps
- Ghost mode or capture exclusion does not work with a specific conferencing tool (see Terms disclaimers)
5. How to request a refund
Email support@phantomnote.co with your account email, order or receipt reference, and reason for the request. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Approved refunds are processed through Creem to your original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer (typically 5–10 business days).
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the issue. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension and license revocation.
7. License revocation on refund
If a refund is issued, your PhantomNote Pro license will be revoked and the application may stop working until a new license is purchased.
